My best friend moved across the country a few years back and one of the very first friends she made was Shay. Over the years she has easily become one of my favorite people to talk to. She has and will continue to be an amazing friend to the both of us as well as a fellow lady day aficionado. Shay and her hilarious husband Whitman are simply some of the most genuine, kind hearted people that I have ever met, and it couldn't please me more to watch them become parents.

I had initially planned to be there for the birth, but Joey had a different agenda. Coming in around 2 weeks late, he lovingly completed their little family of 3. Here are some images I took while visiting a few months ago. So here he is, Baby Joey at 2 weeks.
